  • DFID / NATO Bridges.

    Installation of 50 Steel bridges at the cost of Rs. 948 Million in Malakand Division Crises affected Districts. Super structure donated by the UK Government as grant. They have committed additional 20 bridges for the Area.

    Launching of 20 Nos. steel bridges in Tank, D.I.Khan, Swat and Dir Upper Districts at a cost of Rs. 247 Million. Super structure donated by NATO.
Revised Composite Schedule Rates (CSR) four times.
B&R Code updating is in progress.
CPD (Continuing Professional Development Programme) initiated with remarkable results.
Digital Mapping
For the 1st time, the Assets of the Department i.e Roads, Bridges & Buildings are digitized.
Standardization of construction materials (Fixtures & Fitting, Cable, Steel, Bricks etc).
