The Employee Smart Service Card was officially inaugurated by the Secretary of Communication & Works (C&W). During the ceremony, the Secretary praised the initiative, calling it a progressive, innovative, and much-needed step for the department.
He announced that the card will be issued to all employees free of cost, and all associated expenses will be borne by the department, ensuring no financial burden is placed on the employees.
Key Features of the Smart Service Card:
Embedded QR Code: Each card includes a unique QR code linked directly to the department's database, enabling real-time verification and easy access to employee records.
Digital Integration: The card is integrated with the department’s digital systems to support identity verification and service tracking.
Security & Authenticity: Designed with modern security features to prevent unauthorized use and ensure authenticity.
Employee Convenience: Armed at simplifying administrative processes and improving the overall service experience for employees.
Additional Highlights from the Ceremony:
Following the inauguration, Smart Service Cards were officially issued to the Chief Engineers as the first recipients.
In recognition of their contributions, Appreciation Certificates were also distributed to the individuals who played a key role in initiating and executing the project.
