INDEPENDANCE DAY OF PAKISTAN
On behalf of the Mega Projects Wing of C&W Department, it is a great honour and pleasure for me to convey my heartfelt congratulations to each and every individual of the nation on this great day of Independence of 14th August.
We must always remember the sacrifices rendered by all of our great heroes who presented their lives and properties for the creation of this beloved homeland in which we live with honour today. These sacrifices, hardships, efforts and prayers were accepted by Almighty Allah in the shape of the "great gift" of Pakistan.
On this great day, I appeal to all the citizens of Pakistan that we must never forget that we must keep this "great gift from Almighty Allah" sacred and respect it, be sincere to it and truly consider it as "our own home" in order to face the lurking threats and challenges. God forbid, if we take this great gift for granted and do not take good care of it, Almighty Allah may take it back from us.

BUNYAN-UM-MARSOOS
On this day of independence, the whole nation also need to earnestly thank "Almighty Allah" for showering his favours upon the nation by granting success in the recent battle with India.
The unjust aggression by India in May 2025 was answered in a befitting response by Pakistan through an operation named as "Bunyan-um-Marsoos". In this military operation by Pakistan, India was forced to accept defeat by bringing in mediators who helped stopped the battle. The coordination & high level of preparedness of the Pakistan's military forces and full support of the nation was praised locally as well as internationally.
Precision strikes by Pakistan's military destroyed Indian military sites like Brahmos missile storage facility, airbases, S-400 missile defence systems, aircrafts while avoiding collateral civilian damages. This strong and unified response sent a clear message to India about Pakistan's ability and resolve which will be remembered as a nightmare by India forever.
Now I would like to point out that by the grace of Almighty Allah, the name "Bunyan-um-Marsoos" guaranteed Pakistan's success in the war. It was not an ordinary name but the one chosen from the Ayat of the Holy Quran. Many people knows about this Ayat while others may not be fully aware of it. The Ayat is reproduces below:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ صَفًّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنْيَانٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ
الصف : 4
اردو ترجمہ : بیشک اللہ ان وگوں سے محبت کرتا ہے جو اس کی راہ میں اس طرح صفیں باندھ کر لڑتے ہیں گویا وہ سیسہ پلائی ہوئی دیوار ہیں۔
English Translation:
"Allah indeed loves those who fight in His Way as though they are a solid wall of molten lead". Surah Al-Saff (Verse No. 4)
In my opinion, the chosen name is the best and no other name can be better.
Therefore, I suggest:
- The person who proposed this is worthy of high praise and must be honored officially with the highest award of Pakistan.
- This name must be made officially "permanent" for all future wars that Pakistan will fight in the future with the only change of date/month/year e.g. the recent may be named as "Bunyan-um-Marsoos 5/25".
Thanks to Allah and all praises be to Almighty Allah for granting success to Pakistan in this battle.
